Assistant Crewing Manager, Accounts
Objective
This position is responsible for monitoring vessel’s crewing expenses and budgets, administration of crewing costs, wages matrix and vessel’s payroll.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Prepare wage scales for vessels and update wage matrices in crewing system
- Manage crew costs and prepare crewing OPEX
- Prepare budgeting and financial analysis of crewing expenses
- Review CBA and extraction of relevant information
- Manage the usage of the crewing software
- Process and review of contract catering, travel agents’ invoices and manning office invoices
- Manage Cash to Master and crew cost variance analysis
Competencies & Qualification
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Tertiary Education with a minimum of 3 years crewing or accounting experience in maritime industry, preferably with a manning service provider
- Knowledge of shipping and vessel accounting
- Expert use of Excel with advanced functions
